Wellington, June 9.

At the Supreme Court Airs Sjme, fortnerlj of Nelson, brought an action against J. P. Rockstrow, of Foxlon, claiming £500 damages for alleged unskilful treatment of a broken arm and loss of serrifle in connequenoe. The medir&l evidence went to show th« case was unsuccessfully treated. After a few minutes deliberation the jury gave a verdict for £200, on tb* ground of defendant's neglect in not sett« ing the limb at the time of the accident, and in not calling medical assistance afterward*.
