IT is hereby notified that the Pa- • hiatua Village Special Settlement Sections will be open for selection at this office on and after Friday, 18th June, 1886. Applications can also be lodged with the Ranger, as Steward of the Village Settlement, at Pahiatua up to 16th June. There are 58 sections, ranging in area from 4 to 20 acres each ; leases ac rentals from about 2s 9d to 5s an acre will be granted for 80 years, re newable for further, periods of 21 years, but without right of purchase. Advances on certain conditions may be obtained from the Government to enable selectors to build houses and improve their holdings ; 5 per cent. will be charged on the amounts advanced.
