In going down the Oiehnnga wharf he>. got blinded by the wliarjf light, and waflcoj} over the wharf into the sea. Mr Noble, the mate of the Mate, vhich steamer^ was alongside, jumped into the. rescue./but the Guver- «&* daught hold of a stringer of the wharf and was hauled up by the aid of a rope, apparently uninjured. Fortunate^ if was flood tide at the time. His ExOTllency w«nt on board the Hinemoa, which sails at 8 o'clock to-morrow morn? ing.
