Franklin (secretary % The minuter of the previous meet* ing were read and confirmed: .1 It was resolved, That all stake* be paid less 5 percent. . : ; -L In the case of the protest in ;the - Consolation Race* it was decided to refund the deposit held by the seere* The secretary announced the receipt of a subscription of £5 from Mr ■V Abrahams, of t*almerston. He farther announced that alUr paring all prizes, debts, &0., he expected! to have in hand the satisfactory balance of £66. ..
