Feilding Jockey Club
A meeting of the steward* was held, . test night at the Denbigh Hotel. Present —Messrs William Bailey (in the chair), Walter Bailey, P. Bartholomew, Curtis, Haybittle, Gosling, Franklin, Kirton. Morphy, Fits Herbert, Sandilands, and CottrelL After the usual formal business the fallowing appointments were made. To take first and second hones to the scales— Messrs Cottrell and Morphy respectively. Scrutineers for totalisater— Messrs Walter Bailey and A. R. Curtis. Assistant clerk of scales— Mr P. Bartholomew.
To be placed at the several hurdles to see that the horses go over, &c. — Messrs Sandilands, Gosling, W. L. Bailer, Jackman, and Fitzherbert. One steward to each hurdle.
In general charge of saddling paddock —Mr A. Campion.
It was resolved, That entries for the Selling Race be received up to half an hour before the advertised time of starting the District Handicap. This was all the business of any publio interest.
