Campion, OFFICIAL PROGRAMME. 1. HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, 40 sovs ; distance, 2 miles and a distance ; oyer 10 flights of hurdles 3ft. 9in. high. Nomination £1, acceptance £1. To start at 11.30 a.m. 2. HACK HURDLE RACE, lOsevs; second horse 2 sovs from the racing funds; distance, 1 mile and a distanco ; over five flights of hurdles. For horses that have never won public money or been nominated for an advertised race 6 months prior to date of entry, Hunter's and Hack races excepted. Weights not less than lOst. Post entry. Entrance £1. To start at 12 noon. 3. MAIDEN PLATE, 25 sovs; distance, 1 mile and a half. Entrance £1. Weight for age. Open to all horses that have never won an advertised race of the value of 25 sovs prior to date of entry. Any horse entered for the Maiden Plate winning an advertised race between the time of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of slbs. To start at 12.45 p.m. 4. FEILDING HANDICAP, 100 sovs ; second horse, 10 sovs from the racing fund ; distance, 2 miles. Nomination£ 1, acceptance £2. The winner of any handicap to the value of 100 sovs after the declaration of weights to carry , 71bs extra. To start at 1.30 p.m. 5. HACK RACE, 10 sovs ; once round the course ; 9st up. Same conditions as No 3. Entrance £1. To start at 2. 15 p.m. 6. DISTRICT RACE HANDICAP, 25 sovs ; distance, 1 mile ; nomination 1 sov, acceptance 1 sov. For horses the bona fide property of residents in the Rangitikei, Manawatu, and Oroua Coun. ties for 3 months prior to date of entry. Winner ot Feilding Handicap to carry 71bs penalty. Te start at 3 p.m. I 7. WINTER OATS HANDICAP, 80 sors ; distance, 1 J miles. Nomination £1, acceptance £1. To start at 3.45 p.m. 8. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, 15 sovs ; once round the course ; for all beaten horses ; entrance £1. To start at 4.30 p.m. ACCEPTANCES And general entries for Handicap Hurdles, Feilding and Winter Oats Handicaps, also District Uace will close on Monday, April 12th, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No Entry will be received for any Races except upon this condition, — That all Disputes, Claims, and Objection arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. ■■ All entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Feilding ; Entrance Money enclosed with Name, Age at the itime of Entry, Pedigree, and in the case ;of Handicaps, performances of the Horse, Name of the owner, and Colours of the Rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will bo fine 3 sovs. When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Colour must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales ono half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 sovs. to the Race Fund. All races to be run under the W. J. C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. All entries and nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received f under any pretence whatever, and nomi* nations unpaid at the time of due date ot weights will be struck off the list.
