OFFICIAL PROGRAMME. 1. HANDICAP HURDLE RACE, 40 soys ; distance, 2 miles and a distance; over 10 flights of hurdles 3ft. 9in. high. Nomination £1, acceptance £1. Open to all horses that have never won an ndvertised race of the value of 25 soys prior to date of entry. The winner of any handicap to the value of 100 soys after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs extra. To start at 1.30 p.m. I 5. HACK RACE, 10 sovs; once round i the course ; 9st up. For horses the bona fide property of residents in the Rangitikei, Manawatu, and Oroua Counties for S months prior to date of entry. Winner ot Feilding Handicap to carry 71b8 penalty. To start at 3 p.m. 7. WINTER OATS HANDICAP, 30 soys ; distance, 1£ miles. Nomination £1, acceptance £1. To start at 3.45 p.m. 8. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, 15 soys ; once round the course ; for all beaten horses ; entrance £1. To start at 4.30 p.m. ACCEPTANCES And general entries for Handicap Hurdles, Feilding and Winter Oats Handicaps, also District Kace will close on Monday, April 12th, at 9 p.m. j RULES AND REGULATIONS. No Entry will be received for any Races except upon this condition, — That all Disputes, Glaim.v and Objection : arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales ono half-hour before starting. : Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys. to the Race Fund. All races to be ran under the W. J. C. Rules. Horses walking oyer will only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. All entries and nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received under any pretence whatever, and no'mi* nations unpaid at the time of due date ot weights will be struck off the list. .
