Harry Fenvrick, 68 years »f age, was brought to the Christcharch hospital today, after having undergone an expenence of the most terrible description. It appears that about; 6 o'clock, while driving a spring cart loaded with piga and fowls along the road from Kaiapbi to the Maori pa, he was capsized into a deep ditch, the cart falling on top of him. His right leg was broken, and he was unable to extricate himself. He lay in.- -. the ditch pinned down by the rvehicle through the irhole night exposed to the , drenching rain.
