Didn't know you had one. Patea has lent its 'Trial by Jury' to Feilding for thirty shillings." Manaia says to Hawera: "Confound you! ,What do you mean by selling us ' Trial by Jury,' when it belongs to Patea?" Hawera replies : " Patea be blowed ! It was ours, and we sold it to you. We'll fix it directly." Then Hawera wires in at Wanganui : " What the deuce do you mean by lending our ' Trial by Jury' to Feilding ?" Wanganui replies: "What the dickens have you do with it ? It's Patea's, and Patea has lent it for thirty shillings. Your ' Trial by Jury,' indeed !" And that is the present position.
