I STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.

Within the last ten days we hare held three Btock sales, at Feilding on the 25th March, when we yarded 350 head of cattle and over 3000 sheep, being many more than were advertised. At Cheltenham on 30th March 125 head of cattle and 800 sheep, at Palmerston on the Ist April 200 head of cattle and 2000 sheep. The attendance at Feilding and Palmerston was good, lrat at Cheltenham not m proportion. The bidding was not so spirited at these sales as of late, and sheep hardly maintained previous prices, but we quitted by far the larger majority of the stock, especially at Feilding. Cattle.— At Feilding— Beef, £5 17/6; 2£-yr steers, £4 12/6 to £4 15/- ; 18-mo steers, £3 to £3 1/- ; milkers, £2 10/- to £4 2/6; store cows, £2 10/-; yearling heifers, 22/6 ; mixed yearlings, 35/6 ; weaner steers, 25/6 ; 2-yr mixed, £3 8/-. At Cheltenham— Fat cows, £4 10/- ; 2£yr steers, £4 5/-; cows and calves, £2 17/6 ; 18-mo mixed, £2 4/- ; yearling steers. £2 5/- ; 2-yr steers, £3 12/6. At Palmerston.— Fat cows, £3 16/- to £4 ; 18-mo mixed, £2 12/6; store cows, £2 11/- ; cows and calves, £3 ; weaners mixed, 21/- ; yearlings and 18-mo steers, £2 0/6. Sheep. — At Feilding— Fat sheep, 8/- ; wethers, 6/- to 7/- ; mixed sheep, 6/5 ; ewes, 5/1 to 6/- ; culls, 2/6 ; lambs, 4/-. At Cheltenham— Lambs, 4/9. At Palmerston—Fat wethers, 8/3 ; good ewes, 6/7 to 8/- ; medium, 4/6 ; shorn lambs, 3/9 ; culls, 2/3 ; Lincoln rams, 27/6 ; pigs, 26/---to 29/-.
