BBVTEB'S TBLKOBAMB.I Seceived April 1, 1*45 a.m. Mklbovbnk, March 31. At the Criminal Sessions to-day A. Lawrence, late teller in the City of Melbourne Bank, wag found guilty of embezzling the funds of tlie bank and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. Stdnkt, March 31. Mr I. J. Holt, the absconding manager of the Bank of New Zealand here, has been charged with the misappropriation of a sum of £14.000 belonging to the bank and the extradition papers necessary for his arrest, have been signed by the authorities.
