Feilding Jockey Club
A meeting of the stewards of the Feilding Jockey Club was held at Bellve's Hotel last evening. Mr yherwill in the chair.
The services of the Eeilding Brass Baud was engaged for the races.
Proposed by Mr Campion, seconded by Mr Cottrell, That a Selling Hack race for £1 0 be added, the winner to be sold for £15; any amount over that to go to the club ; any other horses may be claimed for sale ; once round the course ; 9 stone up. — Carried.
Proposed by Mr Campion, seconded by Mr Gosling, That the training track be ploughed up for 9 feet wide, and that the offer to do the work, of Mr Jackman, be accepted. — Carried.
Proposed by Mr Sherwill, seconded by Mr A. Campion, That all permits given be withdrawn, and an advertisement be inserted in the Feilding Star to that effect ; also, that fresh permits be issued on payment of 10s 6d each to the secretary. — Carried.
