STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. We have held three sales since our last report. At Awahuri on the 16th, at Caoipbelltown on the 19th, and atMarton yesterday. At Awahuri we yarded several pens of cattle and close on 3,000 sheep. The bidding was spirited and we sold every pen of sheep excepting two, and most of the cattle. Prices— Fat cows, £4 5/-; cows, £3 ; 18-mo steers, £2 16/6 ; yearlings and weaners (mixed), 29/» ; 4 and 6-tooth wethers, 8/- to 8/3 ; ewes, 5/6 to 6/5; mixed sheep, 6/9; lambs in wool, 4/9 to 5/4 ; shorn lambs, 4/- to 4/9 ; Mr Wilson's rams, averaged 2j guineas ; Mr Fraser's rams, from J guinea to 1J guineas. At Campbelltown we had good entries of stock, but the reserves were so high we could only quit a few lots. Prices — 4-yr bullocks, £5 2/6; milkers, £2 15/- to £5 5/- ; yearling heifers, 36/- ; fat ewes, 7/1; culls, 2/6 ; store pigs, 7/-. At Marton yesterday we had only up to the day before the sale about 500 sheep advertised, and we yarded over 2,500 and several pens of cattle. The attendance luckily was good, and we were able to sell all the sheep excepting four small pens. The bidding was rather dull for cattle, but we quitted most of them after the sale. Prices— Bullocks, £4 14/6 ; 3yr steers, £3 13/6 to £4 ; cows, £2 2/6; fat heifers, £3 3/- to £4 ; yearlings, (mixed), 31/6 ; fat wethers, 7/7 to 8/1 ; store wethers, 7/7 ; breeding ewes, 6/- to 7/2 ; lambs, 4/1 to 5/1.
