Suspicious Death of a Maori Woman
(her united press association.) Wangakui, This Day. A Mann woman named Haenga Mapu, who has been missing sine* Monday was found drowned to»day. When last seen she was under the influence of liquor and was then crossing the bridge to the samping ground. It is rumoured that her husband had beaten her a few nights previously, but he denies this. An inquest will be held.
