CLASS E.-PRODUCE.

Butter, 2lbs, R. Robinson; second, Mrs Wilson Cheese, 1 whole, Mr Skerman Ham, 1 locally-cured, T. Evans Eggs, 12, Mr Beaufort Honey in comb, H. Bilderbeek Jams, last year's T. Price Jellies, last year's, Mrs Wilson . Bread, special, Mrs R. Robinson The attendance in the afternoon was very good, but in the evening the Hall was crowded to excess. The money taken at the doors was £18, a considerable advance on the Spring Show, when only £11 1 6s 3d was taken. The Feilding Brass Band, under the leadership of Mr S. Daw, rendered valuable assistance. They played a number of pieces in good style. W«would point out one defect, however. which is a want of modulation in tone, the strength of the band being too much for so comparatively confined a space. The show was concluded by a Dutch auction, over which Mr Sherwill was the presiding genius. Good prices were realised for most of the items. In conclusion, we must give a word of praise to the secretary, Mr E. Goodbehere, who was indefatigable in his exertions to make the affair a success The staging arrangements were also much improved, and gave very general satisfaction.
