At our yards yesterday we had entered for sale 2000 iheep and 110 head of I cattlo, The attendance •£ buyers was good, coming from all the surrounding districts and the bidding wa» brisk. All the shoep but one pen wer« sold under the hammer, and nearly all the cattle. The following are the prices realised : — Small beef , £5 10s ; steers and heifers mixed sizes and ages, £2 10s 6d ; fat cows, £3 178 6d ; yearlings mixed, 25s ; milch cows with calres at foot from £2 to £3 10s 6d; Komney Marsh rams from one to two guineas ; fat ewes 6s 6d to 7s 8d ; fat wethers 7s 9d ; store wethers 6s ; store ewes from 3s 2d to 4s 8d ; lambs in wool, from 4s to 4s Bd.
