For horses that have never won public money or been nominated for an advertised race 6 months prior to date of entry, Hunter's and Hack races excepted. Weights not less than lOst. -t entry. Entrance £1. To start at 12 noon. 3. MAIDEN PLATE, 25 soys; distance, 1 mile and a half. Entrance £1. Weight for age. Open to all horses that have never won an advertised race of the value of 25 soys prior to date of entry. Any horse entered for the Maiden Plate winning an advertised race between the time of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of 51 bs. To start at 12 45 p.m. 4. FEILDING HANDICAP, 100 soys ; second horse, 10 soys from the racing fund ; distance, 2 miles. Nomiuation£ 1, acceptance £2. The winner of any handicap to the value of 100 soys after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs extra. To start at 1.30 p.m. .5. HACK EACE, 10 soys ; once round the cour.se ; 9st up. Same conditions as No 2. Entrance£l. To start at 2.15 p.m. 6. DISTEICT EACE HANDICAP. 25 soys; distance, 1 mile; nomination 1 soy, acceptance 1 soy. For horses the hona fide property of residents in the Eangitikei, Manawatu, and Oroua Counties for 3 months prior to date of entry. Winner ot Feilding Handicap to carry 71bs penalty. Te start at 3 p.m. 7. WINTEE OATS HANDICAP, 30 soys ; distance, 1£ miles. Nomination £] , acceptance £1. To start at 345 p.m. 8. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, 15 8ovs ; once round the course ; for all beaten hor&es ; entrance £1. To start at 4 30 p.m. NOMINAiIONS For Handicap Hurdles, Feilding and Winter Oats Handicaps, and District Ence will be received, addressed to the Secretary, at Feilding, on Monday, the 29th March, 18S6, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS Will be declared on Monday, A pri sth, 1886. ACCEPTANCES And general entries for Handicap Hurdles, Feilding and Winter Oats Handicaps, also District Uace will close on Monday, April 12th, at 9 p.m. EULES AND EEGULATIONS. No Entry will be received for any Eaces except upon this condition, — That all Disputes, Claims, and Objection arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. All entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary. Feilding ; Entrance ( Aloney enclosed with Name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and in the case of Handicaps, performances of the Horse, ; Name of the owner, and Colours of the. • Eider. Any jockey riding except in the "colour's entered will be fine 3 soys. When two or more horses start (the -property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Colour must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give Notice to! that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Eule shall pay a fine of 5 soys. to the Eace Fund. All ruces to be run under the W. J. C. , Eules. Horses walking oyer will only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. AH entries nud nominations mast be in the hands of the Secretary at the time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received under any pretence whatever, and nomi* nations unpaid at the time of due date ot weights will be struck off the li.st.
