SECOND DAY'S RACES.
(PEB UNITED FEE S3 A8800IATIOK.) Wellington, February 7. The second day's races of the Wellington Racing Club was held at the Hutt course yestd:day. The weather -was very fine, but the attendance was not so numerous as on the first day, not more than 2000 being present. The following are the results of the various events : — Hutt Park Stakes, of 150 soys — Miss Dargon I, Maligner2, Rubezahl 3. Dividends, inside, £3 3s ; outside £5 ss. Handicap Hurdles, of 100 soys — Faugh-a-ballagh. 1, Director 2, The JDruid 3. Dividends, inside, £2 4s ; outside, £2 ss^ Local Handicap, of 100 soys — Giriri 1, Life Buoy 2, Grand Duke 3. Dividends, inside, £15 8s; outside, £11 14s. Wellington Racing Clubs' Handicap, of 300 soys— Pasha 1, Waitiri 2, Salvage 3, Dividends, inside, £5 ss ; outside, £4 9s Cavalry Race, of 10 soys; 1J miles. — Trooper Dwan's Woolman 1. Five others ran. Consolation Handicap, of 50 soys. — Salvage I, Rumour 2, Athol Daisy 3. Silence, and Ugly Buck also xaa. Dividends, inside, £2 14s; outside, £2 18s. The amount of money put through ihe machines yesterday was £6822, making a* total of £13,767 fer the two •days. _____________
