WELLINGTON MAEKKTS. Wellinotox, Febraarj 4. Messrs George Thomai and Co. report produce prices as follows : — " We find no appreciable change in the grain market. There is no doubt the rain will do good to the grass country, but ire think it has come too late to materially benefit growing crops, and may now interfere with the safe harvesting of wheat and oats, which is now in Bctiye operation. Flour is ruling at £8 Ids to £9 1O.< ; fowls' wheat, 3s id to 3s 5d ; pollard £6 ; bran, £6 ; oats, 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; oatmeal £12 ; maize, 4s ; barley, 2s 7>i ; beans 3s 6d ; eaten chaff, £4; pot. toes, £5; onion!* £10 per ton ; hams and baion, 83d all round ; cheese. 6d to 6£d per lb ; eggs scarce at Is 3d per doz.; salt butter, nominally worth 9d ; fresh do, lid. Poultry has net been in such light demand for some time ; ire quote — fowls, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; geese, 6a ; and turkeys, 10s per pair.
