MEETING OF POLICYHOLDERS AT AUCKLAND.

Auolland, January 27. An influential meeting of the policyholders of the Government life Insurance Association was held yesterday. The amount of policies represented at the meeting was £35,000. Resolutions were carried condemning the appointment at the Dunedin branch, and the action of board in the purchase of of sites and the contemplated erection of expensive buildings; also recommending an alteration in the Act, that policyholders may be able to elect at least one-half of the men on the board, and have a voice in the selection of a chairman.
