A, special .train left here this evening for Ngaire with Volunteers to render assistance, in cputting out the fire and, protecting the property. A strong southerly breeze is blowing at Stratford, which is very serious, but it is. hoped rain will soon come. ■ • Twenty-four hours rain/ would completely extinguish the fire,; r but until that occurs me outlook is bad. - ' •' i .
