There was a >»ry large attendance it was eventually decided to invite the cooperation of the seamens Union, in New South -Wales, : Southi Australia,' Qiwnslaud, and New Zealand; and; if favour* able, replies were., received from,; them tit; strike in 24 hours. It is expeqted that if the seamen go oat, the stewards and cooks will follow their example. Great hostility is being manifested tow&ids the firm of Howard, Smith and Sons, whom it is proposed to boyoot.
