WEATHER REPORT.
Meteorological Report for the week ended Fridaj, January 1, 1886. The following table shows the readings of the barometer and rain guage at 9.30 a.m. on the days mentioned, and tbe maximum and minimum temperature during the preceding 24 hours : —
N.8.-— The total rainfall for the past year was 26.08 inches only, as against 46.04 inches in 1884, and 47 48 m 1883. The rainfall during tbe last four months, (September to December) was 8.35 inches only, as against 24 65 inchoi during the same months of 1884, and 16.91 inches buring the same months ef 1883. Saml.
