The Escaped Nun
«, . ■ ■ Miss Edith O' Gorman, well known i as the " Escaped Nun," and who was for six years an inmate of St. Joseph's Convent, Jersey City, will deliver an eloquent lecture in the • Temperance Hall, on Friday January 8. She has visited nearly all the principal cities, where ,she has spoken to crowded and intelligent audiences. As this is to be her only appearance in Feilding this season, there will be a great curiosity to see and hear her. Her subject is " Life in a Convent," which she says is a world in itself. She comes highly endorsed by the press and clergymen of other cities. She is possessed of fine personal appearance, is sprightly and smart and a fine elocutionist, one of the best now in the lecture field. Miss O' Gorman will give some re? yelations that will startle the public. She has had a personal experience of the most thrilling character, some chapters of which she will relate. She has great taleut and power as a speaker. Always draws out the best class of society. Her appeals to Protestants are powerful and convincing. ________ ___
