Mesira George Thomas and Co report produce prices ns follows . — At this season of the year the demand for horse and cattle f«ed is necessarily very limited, and trade doas not extend beyond small retail parcels and there is no doubt, were it not for the Australian markets, prices for all lines would rule exceptionally low. Oats, good feed, are quoted at 2s to 2s Id ; oat* meal. £11 ; flour, colonial, £8 10s • Adelaide, £11 15s ; pollard, £5 to £5 10s ; bran, £4 10s ; fowls' wheat (scarce), 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; wheatmeal, £9 ; maize, 4s ; feed barley, 2s 6d to 2s 9d ; pearl barley. £18 ; oaten chaff, £4 ; old cheese, 5d ; new, s?d per lb ; hams and bacon, 8d all round ; fresh bntter, 9d ; salt do, 9d ; honey, 4d ; eggs, from Is p«r doz, without much demand ; old potatoes are quite Unsaleable, and not worth a quotation ; new, souad samples command £5, and kidneys £6 ; new onions, 1 fd to 2d par lb ; green peas, 4s per sack.
