Feilding School Committee
A meeting of the Jfeilding School Committee was held at the schoolhouse last evening. Present — Messrs Nicholas (chairman), Watts, Rutherford, Worsf old, Foster, ' Bade, and Cottrell. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read from the Education Beard re appointment of Mrs Boddy as assistant mistress to Feilding school ; also requesting the committee to forward the name of a qualified person to audit the committee's accounts for the year ending December 31st ; also informing the committee that the holidays would commence on Monday, December 14th; that the school will re-open on the 18th January 1886 ; and that the meeting of householders will not take place till April instead of January as formerly. ; Resolved, That the name of T. W. K Foster be forwarded to the Board as auditor. — Carried. - It was decided to: give prizes and treat at the re-opening of the .school as usual. . This being all the business the meeting then adjourned. "
