THE SERVIA-BULGARIA WAR
[EEUTKES* TELEGBAMB.I London, November 29. Intelligence received at Sofia states that desperate fighting has taken place at Pirot during the last two days between the Bulgarian and Servian troops. A despatch from Widden announces that the Bulgarians made a sortie upon the Servians encamped in the neighborhood, but were repulsed. Austria has made threats of war unless an armistice is arranged between Servia and Bulgaria. Vienna, December 1. It is considered doubtful when the armistice between Bulgaria and Servia will take place. Prince Alexander demands, not only an indemnity, but Bulgarian occupation of Pirot and Zutoara as a guarantee for due payment. Constantinople, December 1. His Imperial Majesty, the Sultan, has proclaimed an amnesty to all his Roumelian subjects who took part in the late Bulgarian revolution. Received December 3, 1*30 a.m. St. Petbbsbabg, December 2. An Imperial order lias been published in which the Czar enlogises the courage and activity displayed by the Bulgarian and Boumelian troops in the recent engagements in the Balkans.
