[KBOTEES TELBGBAMS.] Calcutta, December 1. The Bnrmese garrison at Ava fort yielded to General Prendergast, the troops laying down their arms. The expedition proceeds from Ava to Mandalay (the capital) on Saturday next. Further intelligence from Bunnah states that the British expeditionary iorces arrived at the town of Ava, where but slight resistance was encountered. Here General Prendergast was met by another embassy, who announced the unconditional surrender of King Theebaw.
