Intelligence from the frontier states that the Servian forces crossed yes- . terday, and advanced upon Zanbrod, on the river Nessaro, which place was captured after an insignificant engagement with the Bulgarian troops. Sofia. November 14. Prince Alexander, in an order of the day issued to the Bulgarian army denounces the Servian invasion as cowardly and treacherous, and calls upon all Bulgarian subjects to defend their homes aud anihilate the invaders. Later intelligence states that some •harp skirmishes have occurred between the Bulgarians and Servians, several men have been killed and a. good number wounded. The Bulgarians hd rather the worst of it, and are reported to be retiring. St. Pbtbbsbdbg. November 15. The Russian Press generally condemns the action of Servia in. commencing hotilities.- The Journal de fit. Petersburg in an article on the -subject states that Russia deplores the fratricide and strife which must follow King Milan in his action, and adds that Russia cannot champion either party.
