Cbkutebs tklbobaus.*! Adklaidb, November 14. An early estimate of the Seuth Aus. tralian wheat crop gives the expected yield at from three to four bushels per acre. Sydney, November 15. The Plenary Council was opened today by His Eminence Cardinal Meran. There was a large and representative gathering present, including fifteen Bishops, numerous clergy, and thousands of the laity. Dr Redwood, Bishep of WeUington, preached the opening sermon. The procession which followed was of a most im)>osing character.
