The Colorado Minstrels
This clever company appeared at the Town Hall last night to a fairly good house. Owing to the fireworks display, theperf ermanca was somewhat delayed. The curtain rose at half-past 8 to the usual Negro Minstrel presentation, comprising the entire company, and including the irresistible "corner " men. The company presented a pleasing innovation on the convent - donal Negro Minstrel entertainirieiit, -- 3 out of the 10 artistes befog ladies, , the whole of whom were under flic •• talented leadership of Miss. jAmy .-'• Vaughan, who, as interlocutress, won _*" frequent applause. Pressure, on our^t space prevents our noticing Jthe pro- \^ gramme in detail, but several of the,; items are deserving of a passing i netice. Miss Amy Vaughan in "The little coquette," "Did 'em dti : '%-i ifid "Meet her when the ■un goes 4pf)£" was very effectivje, and 'by b^er ojever vocalisation and grace of aqting-,soon . : established herself as* a firm favojH9 with the audience.
