STEVENS AND GOttTON'B STOCK REPORT. ' We are glad to report that our last two ' stock sales have been very successful and i that at Sanson on October 29, and at F Awahuri yesterday. The full number of cattle advertised fox Sanson and more than the number ol sheep came forward. The attendance was very good and bidding spirited. We sold all the cattle excepting one pen aud all > the sheep. Prices — 3-yr heifers, £3 10/---to £3 12/- ; cows, £2 10/- to £2 16/- ; 2- , yr steers, £3 10/-; weaners (chiefly steers), 31/- ; calves, £1 ; fat shorn wethers, 9/- ; hoggets, 8/1 to 9/4 ; fat sheep im wool, 1 12/7 ; shorn ewes, 6/6 ; ewes with lambs, 9/6. At Awahuri we yarded over 200 head of cattle aud 400 sheep. The attendance was good, bidding spirited, and we sold 1 every beast excepting on* cow, and all the sheep excepting one pen. Prices— 3-yr good steers, £5 to £5 2/6; 2-yr steers, £3 15/-; spayed heifers, £3 7/6; fat cows, £4 ; fat heifers, £3 7/6 ; 18-mo and 2-yr steers, £2 14/- ; weaner steers, 38/- ; weaner heifers, 25/- ; cows, £2 11/-; , milkers l !£3 19/-; hoggets, 6/6; ewes with , lambs, 11/11.
