The rooms-were crowded with British, Foreign, American, and local buyers. The biddings throughout were spirited, the American buyers being especially noticeable. Five thousand bales were disposed of, during the afternoonv Greasy merinos sold up to ls _d per lb and scoured wools as much as 16fd. November 6. l!he New Zealand Loan and Mercantile^ Agency Company (limited), held their .usual weekly sale yesterday afternoon when a fairly representative c_A4£sg-|tf ttfaome 2,800 bales was subMtted to a huge attendance of buyers. Ilk9--oq^petitioh was animated, but they*, wesi in t^e tone of eal*«£ prices ruling about as the. previous week; A parcel of greasy merino lambs' wool brought Is 13__ being 1 the highest price obtained this season ia that class of wool. . Greasy merino sold up to is I_- . scoured wool up to Is 15_y while for a lot of washed fleece la was: obtained. //***
