A pupil teacher at the Lower Heath* oote Schaol was brought up before the Magistrate's Court to-day charged with Assaulting a papil. a girl, 11 jparsi old. The pareatu tent for a doctor, who pronounced that the child was suffering from inflammation of the lower part of the lun<; and the lirar adjoining, apparently consequent upon the injury she had received. A second doctor, who saw the girl in the intere.it of accuned stated that, while he did not »cc any immediate danger, he considered the case a grove one. The accused wan remanded till Thursday, and admitted to bail.
