STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.

Sineo our last report we have had two very successful stock uhles —one at Woodyille on the loth inst , and the other at Bulls to-day. At Woodrille, we had cattle in every pen and a good pen of hoggets; we sold every head of caltle (every lot excepting one under the hammer), the hoggets, and some hncks. We quote the following rates, which will be found quite up to, if not better than, recent prices : — 3 and 4 yr steen, £4 17/6; 2-yr steers, £3 12/6 ; cows, £2 10/- to £3 5/- ; 18-mo old (mixed), £2 1/- ; (reaners (heifers), 17/6; hoggets, 8/5; hacks, £2 15/- to £18. At Bulls we yarded over 200 head of cattle, *ver 1,200 sheep, 30 pigs, and several horses. The attendance was good and the bidding spirited, resulting in a sale of nil the caltle excepting a small pen of steers and five cows; and we quitted all the sheep, all the pigs, and some of the horses. We quote the following rates, which will be found quite up to, if not better than, recent price* : — Beef ftnixed), £'6 to £6 11/- ; 2-yr steers. £3 5/~ to £3 12/6 : 2h-jr steers, £3 16/- ; fat cows. £4 3/ to £5 5/- ; cows, £2 7/6 to £3; 18-mo olds (mixed), £2 5/-; 18-mo heifers, 36/- ; mixed yearlings, 27/- to t« 28/- ; mixed weaners, 22/- ; tat wethers in wool, 13/6 ; shorn wethers, 8/ ; fat shorn ewes. 8/3 to 9/- ; hoggets, 9/2 to 9/6 ; ewes with lambs, 13/1 ; pigs, 4/» to 12/6 ; hacks, £3 10/- to £6 2/6.
