Feilding. — Letter from committee, forwarding a copy of a resolution passed as follows : — The committee of the Feilding school not being satisfied with the results obtained under the present staff at the examination held last month, would respectively ask the board to reorganise the said staff, and make fresh appointments where the board consider necessary. A subsequent letter stated that "the committee consider there is no excuse this year, as it has been an unusual one. There has been ample school accommodation, no sickness, no absences on he part of the teachers, and no changes in the teaching staff (the great excuse of former years.) It has been a year without a break, which plainly shows there is something wanting" — It was resolved that the further consideration of the case be deferred until the regular monthly meeting of the board, when the inspector is to be requested to be present.
