A disastrous fire took place in this city last night. Two large drapers' shops situated in the Hayinarket were entirely destroyed, the damage being estimated at fully ten thousand pounds. It is an nounced, Lower r that the loss was fully covered by insurance.
It is understood that Sir Alexander Stuart will forward his registration to the Governor to-day. Mr Dibbs, the praseni Colonial Treasurer, will be sent for to reconstruct the Ministry. Writs for the new elections will probably be issued on Wednesday next.
