WELLINGTON STOCK MARKETS.
Wellington. Sept. 25. Messrs J. H. Wallace and Co. report, under date 25th September, as follows : — We yarded and sold at our new yards, at Ngahauranga, ex «.s. Hauraki, from Wanganui, 20 head prime bullocks, medium weights, at L 7 10s lo L 7 15s ; 24 fat heifers, light weights, sold at L 5 10s to L 5 12s 6d. We quote beef at 22s 6d per 1001 b. fat sheep— We sold 160 mixed ewes and wethers at 16s to 16s 6d We quote mutton 2£d per Ib. Pigs -37 were sold at 16s to 20s for porkers and «tore pigs. We also seld some dairy cows, horses, &c, at satisfactory prices.
