FURTHER CASES OF BMALLPuX. [bEUTEBS TKLEOBABMS.I Sydney, September 25. Further cases of sniall-pox have been reported to the sanitary authorities. In one instance, it has attacked a seamen on board the s.s. Ganges, which vessel lately returned here from Melbourne. The source of the disease is unaccounted for. Other canes hare made their appearance in Druitt street. The jatient and the other occupants of the house hare been removed to the North Head quarantine station. Received September 26, 12 a.m. Sidney, This Day. The Cabinet has agreed to contribute £10,000 per annum towaidi subsidy required for the mail service rut 'Frisco, on condition that New South Wales be entitled to share in the sum receired for postage. The small pox patients in quarantine remain in about the same condition. No sign of any fresh outbreak. Mklbodbnb, This Day. In coasequeace of the outbreak of small pox in Sydney, the Victorian Sanitary authorities are adopting precautionary meavurea to prevent the introduction oi the disease into this colosj.
