Attacked by a Dog
AN AWKWARD POBITION. [PBB UNITED PBKBS ASSOCIATION.} Auckland, Sept. 26. Mr Peverel, a dairyman, was attacked by a large dog which caught him by the throat and forced him backwards on to the ground, when severely bitten. He struggled for 15 minutes ; the dog foaming afid biting fell dead, and Mr Peverel, exhausted, was removed to his residence. -. The owner of the dog is hot discovered.
