Mr Larnach ii a^uin seriously unwell, having suffered another relapse through attending to his Parliamentary duties before he had thoroughly reoorered from his late illness. Donedin, September 21. At the Land Beard it was resolved to reduce the rentals of 18 runs owned by the Crown and 19 by the School Com* missioners. Nearly all the runs had beon offered more than once at * former rentals. The reductions in some cases are folly one-half. A. license to prospect For minerals over 4480 acres at Big Bay, West Coast, was granted.
