During the passage, a death occurred from infectious disease, but as a month had since elapsed, she was admitted to pratiqu*.**. Received September 18, 11,45 p.m. Adelaide, September 18. Mr H. A. Wood, Accountant to the Court of Insolvency, has absconded. An examination of his books resulted in the discovery of a deficit of upwards of LIO.OOO. The police authorities hope to intercept Wood at New Zealand, to which colony it is believed he proceeded. Sydney. September 18. Tbe following acceptances are announced for the A.J.C.
