The prospects of the forthcoming wheat crop in Victoria are considered favourable, but those of South Australia are gloomy, owing to the shortness of the rainfall in northern areas. Adblaidr, August 20. The wheat market is quiet at 3s lid to 4s ; flour, town brands, £8 5s to £8 10s ; country brands, £7 lQs to £7 16s.
