The Budget proposals brought forward by the Colonial Treasurer, Mr Service, have not been favourably received, and verj general dissatisfaction is being expressed with some of them. The police, assisted by tke prisoner Robinson, have been searching along the Brighton beach for the residue (350) of the stolen money from the Hotham Bank robbery. So far the search has proved unsuccessful, as Bobiason is unable to identify the precise spot where the money was concealed.
