BTOCK SALE AT BULLS. Messrs Stevens & Gorton report :— We have great pleasure ia reporting that our stock sale at Bulls on the 21st inst. was without doubt one of the most successful we hare ever held in eur business. The attendance was unusually large, and the bidding throughout for cattle and Bheep very spirited. The class of stock was good, and brought higher rates than we hare obtained for years. We yarded over 160 head of cattle, 2,456 sheep, aad 50 horses, and sold nearly everything under the hammer. We quote the following satisfactory rates : Cattle.— Fat cows, £4 16s to £5 2s 6d ; store cows, £2 12s 6d to £2 17s 6d; milch cows, £3 15s to £4 10s ; twoanda halfyear steers, £4 ; two-and-a-half-year-old (mixed), £3 5s ; three-year heifers, £3 6s; eighteen-month (mixed), £2; weanen (mixed), 335. Sheep.— Fat wethers, 12s 3d tol3s6d ; fat sheep, 11s 3d to 12s 6d ; ewes in lamb (mixed ages), 12s 4d to 13s 2d ; f.m. ewes in lamb, 9s ; dry ewes, 10s ; store wethers 10s 7d to 10s 9d. Horses. — Harness horses, £10 10s to £15 10s ; colts and fillies, £6 te £13 10s ; Maori horses, 25s per head.
