We are glad to hear, on excellent authority, that several large and commodious buildings are likely to be erected in Feilding_ before the end of the current year. We have been shown the plans of the ■•w business premises about to be erected at the corner of Manchester and Bowen streets by Mr J. W. Eade. of the Feilding furniture and bedding warehoime. The building will comprise a shop, workshop, and dwelling, and will be not only commodious, and in every way adapted for Mr Eado's require nents, bu* will be an ornament to that part of the town. They therefore deolined to lend the m«ney. This, and this only, is the reason why the transaction fell through.
