STEVENS & GORTON'S REPORT.

We are glad to be able to report a very satisfactory sale at our yards at Sanaon yesterday. The yards were well filled with cattle and sheep, and the attendance very good, buyers coming from a distance. Bidding for cattle was not quite so spirited, but for sheep much more so. We sold nearly all the cattle, excepting the two pens of steers, and every sheep. We quote following prices :— 18-months heifers, 335; weanera, mixed, 21s; fat cows, £4 ; milkers, £3 2s 6d to £3 10s ; small calves. 10s. Sheep. — Fat ewes, 11s sd ; ewes in lamb, 8s to 9s 8d; store ewes, 6s 3d; lambs, 5s 9d. Stevens & Gorton. Bulls, July 1, 1885.
