The Rita-Radcliff Company
The attendance at the Public Hall last night was very good, as is generally the case when a talented company appears. The front seats were well filled by a good audience, amongst whom wero visitors from all parts of the district. Although there was a considerable blank in the back, yet this could not be considered a disadvantage, as when this part of the hall is crowded the larrikin element is too apt to prevail The performance comirenced by an overture on the piano most excellently played by Mr George Clutsam. We have not space to give a detailed account of the show, therefore must only give brief mention to the various performances. Mr Walter Grantham sang some bass songs, which were well received. Mr Radcliff gave his flute solos, and delighted the audience. " Lo, here the gentle lark" by Madame Rita, with flute obligate by Mr Radcliff, secured an encore, which was responded to by Madame Rita. Mr Radcliffe played on the bass silver flute selections from Scotch airs, with rariationß, which were rapturously applauded. The whole performance was a brilliant success and the remarkably gdbd order which was kept in the back of the hall, showed that the spirit Vof ldrrikinism has almost died out in Feilding. __
