STEVENS & GORTON'S REPORT.

We held a most successful sale at oar Feilding yards yesterday. We yarded over 2<JO head of cattle and close on 1000 sheep. The attendance was good and bidding fairly spirited. We sold every head of cattle and all the sheep excepting oue pen of good wethers, passed in at 11s 3d. We quote following ratei: — Fat cows, £4 10s; 3-yr steers, £4 7s 6d ; 2-yr steers, £3 to ±3 4s 6d ; cows, £2 2s 6d to £2 5s ; heifers, 18-uionths to 2-yr, £2; mixed yearlings to 18- months, 355; mixed wean•rs, 225. Sheep.— Ewes in lamb, 8» 9d ; fat ewes, 9s 3d ; lambs, shorn (low condition) 3i 9d. Pigs— Bs to 13s. Stevens & Gobton. Bulls, June 24, 1885.
