Breach of Promise Case
(FEB WUITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.).. Timaru, June 17. In the Supreme Conrt, M. Costif an v. Douglas, £150, breach of promise, plaintiff's counsel accepted a nensnit, on which the plaintiff made a fnriens attack on the defendant, belabouring his h«ad and shoulders with her parasol. By order of the judge she was removed and chafged with assault. Later. In the breach of promise ease, Costigan v. Douglas, plaintiff was nonsuited, there being no corroborative evidence! After tho judge gave bis decision' plaintiff rushed at the defendant and struck him en the head with an nubrella. She was subsequently sentenced to seven ' days fer assault.
